European/Swedish Massage
The most popular type of massage in the US. The main purpose of Swedish massage is to increase the oxygen flow in the blood and release toxins from the muscles. European/Swedish massage shortens recovery time from muscular strain by flushing the tissues of lactic acid, uric acid, and other metabolic wastes. It involves the use of hands, forearms and/or elbows to manipulate the superficial layers of the muscles to improve mental and physical health.

Intuitive Healing Massage
It is a well-known fact that your thoughts and emotions directly affect the health of your body. Energy( Qi ), flows through your body, through channels that both begin and end in your hands and feet. When there is dis-function in your physical/mental state, this stagnates and alters the flow of your energy. The power of your mind creates energetic vibrations that manifest in strength and well-being, or weakness and dis-ease. This type of Massage utilizes a combination of Massage Therapy, Cranial-sacral Therapy, Aromatherapy and Intuitive Energy Work to help heal your body.
You can expect all the same physical benefits you would receive from a traditional massage. In addition, by releasing the emotional stressors that are stored in the soft tissue and cell memory of your body, you are increasing your energy flow, allowing your body to function at its optimal level.

Guided Meditation Massage
This is a massage for both the mind and body. Release your mind and allow it to freely travel into your subconscious thoughts by following the words that are spoken to you. As your mind relaxes, your body will as well. Along with guiding your meditation, your practitioner will use massage therapy, along her intuition to help heal your body.

AMMA Therapy

AMMA  focuses on allowing the body's energy force (Qi), to flow freely. Amma Therapy is an ancient energy work rooted in the philosophy of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Your massage therapist massages the meridians of the body with their hands and fingers to enhance the flow of Qi, blood and fluids in those channels. By stimulating certain points on the channels, the practitioner can open blockages in the energetic system or strengthen channels that are open. Deep pressure and point manipulation are applied to restore energetic movement and release contracted muscles.

Aromatherapy Massage

Aromatherapy massage is the alternative therapeutic technique which combines the natural therapeutic properties of the essential oils and the healing power of massage therapy. Essential oils are diluted in a carrier oil before being applied to the skin. Essential oils can help a variety of ailments, ranging from clearing sinus' to stopping muscle spasm. Certain oils have a calm relaxing effect, while others leave you feeling energized! Custom blends are available to accommodate individual needs.

Sports Massage
Sports Massage is a special form of massage and is typically used before, during, and after athletic events. The purpose of the massage is to prepare the athlete for peak performance, to drain away fatigue, to relieve swelling, to reduce muscle tension, to promote flexibility and to prevent injuries. This type of massage is a fast paced massage and incorporates various stretches .

Myofascial Release
Fascia is the soft tissue component of the connective tissue that provides support and protection for most structures within the human body, including muscle. This soft tissue can become restricted due to trauma, repetitive stress and inactivity resulting in pain and decreased mobility. This technique is beneficial for people suffering from a variety of soft tissue damage including Fibromyalgia.  Myofascial release involves gentle yet deep stretches to the connective tissue. These stretches are held until your practitioner can feel release in the muscles and/or ligaments. This technique does not require any oil/creams.

Reflexology
Reflexology promotes healing by stimulating the nerves in the body and encouraging the flow of blood. In the process, reflexology not only decreases the sensation of pain, but relieves the source of the pain as well. Reflexology is a complex system that identifies and addresses the mass of 7,000 nerve endings that are contained in the foot. Additional reflexology addresses the nerves that are located in the hand as well.

Hot Stone Massage
Flat, smooth stones are immersed in water and heated in an electric heater until they are within a certain temperature range.
The heat of the stones warm and relax the muscles, which allows the therapist to apply deeper pressure, if desired.
The massage therapist always holds the stones first before touching them to your body, which ensures that the temperature will not be too hot. Everyone, however, has their own comfort range. Be sure to speak up if the stones are too hot for you.
The warmth of the hot stones improves circulation and calms the nervous system.

Pregnancy Massage

A pregnant woman can expect to enjoy many of the same techniques as a European/Swedish massage. Relieve the aches and pains associated with pregnancy while nestled with pillows in a side-lying or semi-reclining position.
